Commercial Cleaning

Commercial Cleaning in progress

Commercial carpet takes a different kind of punishment to a home. Hundreds of feet cross the same entrance matting every day, and soil concentrates in predictable lines: doorways, corridors, in front of desks and around lifts. The middle of the floor may look fine while the traffic lanes have gone several shades darker.

The other difference is timing. A business cannot lose a floor for a day. We work around opening hours, including evenings and weekends, and use drying methods that get the space back in use quickly.

What Is Included

  • Site visit or photo assessment before quoting
  • Out-of-hours and weekend slots so trading is not interrupted
  • Traffic lane treatment where the soiling actually is
  • Office chairs, reception seating and soft furnishings
  • Entrance matting and barrier matting
  • Fast drying to reduce downtime
  • Recurring maintenance schedules where wanted

How We Do It

01

Assessment

We look at floor area, carpet type, traffic levels and access. Tile and broadloom behave differently, and access matters when equipment has to reach an upper floor.

02

Scheduling

We agree a time that suits the business, which is often after closing or at a weekend.

03

Dry soil removal

Commercial vacuuming across the area, with particular attention to entrances where grit is heaviest.

04

Targeted cleaning

Traffic lanes and heavily soiled areas get pre-treatment and extra passes. The rest of the floor is cleaned to an even finish.

05

Drying and handover

Air movers reduce drying time, and we walk the floor with whoever is responsible before leaving.

Worth Knowing Before You Book

  • Commercial carpet in constant use will not return to new. Traffic lanes that have been left for years may have worn as well as soiled, and wear does not clean out.
  • Regular maintenance costs less over time than occasional deep cleans, because soil that is removed before it grinds in does not wear the carpet down.
  • Insurance details and method statements are available on request for site access.
